what are ".crypt" files and why are they locking all of my DLs from last night?

Asking me to get Bitcoin to pay them for my DLs?

What the hell is this?

I have never heard so much shit in all my life, there is nothing wrong with this site or the hosters apart from idiots who have no idea what they are doing and shouldn't be on illegal sites to begin with.
As for Firefox reporting web forgery all it takes is 10 people to report a site, for them to flag it (or 1 person with 10 different email addresses) they don't actually check until the admin complains that it is wrong. i have mine turned off by default or it would report every 2nd site i visit.
here is a list of web page checkers (some no long work)
https://zeltser.com/lookup-malicious-websites/
I use https://www.webinspector.com/ (click online scan)
If you don't know how surf illegal sites then don't, unless you get appropriate software and read a few forums.
i have downloaded files for every hoster today to check for malicious activity, guess what? not one suspicious item !
Do not click on the flashing buttons!
Do not click on the pretty pictures!
Do not use embedded video players!
Close all pop up windows immediately with the x close button (not not press the pop up button that says do you want to leave this page)
Myself and others have given suggestions for safe web surfing (go back through the members pages and read up)
If you are unsure about anything on the web just DON'T DO IT !
p.s
i have a great new system that lets you earn over $1200 DOLLARS A DAY go to isweariwontstealyourmoney.ru

If anyone has proof of a virus contained within a downloaded file then post the link and email admin and it will be checked out/ deleted.
otherwise stop spreading rumors just because you don't like a host
Ask nicely in a post and if enough want to change a host admin does sometimes oblige.

@ Admin. Thanks for taking the Red Alert page serioisly. However, I still recommend 1fichier, where 900MB only takes about 8 minutes to download.

@Sqwirrelll

Go away troll

So nobody should charge for shows or movies i guess Netflix and others should close down.
Ads have been around for ever and will continue for a long time.
you did not get a virus from openload unless you clicked on something you shouldn't have.
And tell me who is going to pay for the huge server costs on the web? the tooth fairy?

Avast blocks every download page here now, saying "URL.Mal" detected.

I've been using this site for years and never had a problem, but I don't trust the advertisers enough to whitelist the site.

So until you sort it out, I'm getting my videos elsewhere.

Thxs @ Kevin. Been offline for a week while we shifted house came back to play catch up & been hit every time I click on a series with either a red warning or Avast flicks the site off very annoying. Tried all sorts of things even checked as I have Rapid on the whitelist so didn't make a bit of difference.

I'm using AVG (Free trial period) and switched to .com to check what you see, as it was mentioned earlier. I don't get the FF/chrome red page, but then I haven't had that whilst I've been using the site all this time others have mentioned it, I think I stick to the .eu version usually. I'm also not geoblocked, but if it's anything like some UK isp's do with other sites it will probably be limited to virgin. BT, and I forget the other one that wont let you view. As mentioned a VPN, even a proxy will bypass that if you have issues.
Also Russian writing was mentioned, I did see that, but assumed RMTeam were Russian (no idea where I got that from), and maybe they had forgotten to take some coding off for the people who place ad's-didn't think too much of it tbh when I saw it.

@spidapig, (feel free to glaze over) to reply from days ago (sorry) my isp has definitely changed their tariff now :( when they did it initially, abou 2-3 months back, everyone was supposed to be included we got a text to say it would happen, but they would allow free unlimited use to continue until the end of the top-up period, which at most was 7 days from when they announced (2 wk top up is max you can buy)so when that culling happened we thought it would hit just after and nothing changed, this time my sons card expired y.day he said now it's not saying yay free net for 2wk, and told him he has 10G for 30 days..grrr I found an old card so topped up 2wk the day before their deadline, which should allow me about another 7-8 days now, my usual card was set to expire the day after their deadline, so I've got an extra week out of it I guess.
I do know what you mean about moving, many times it's been a thought not just because of internet but I'm on an island so any move is giant, not just drive to another area⁢'s just not something I could do. I'd love to but you know life sometimes your just dealt the hand your dealt and I'm stuck here at least for the foreseeable future.
Sorry to ramble everyone else, PM's would be great on here @admin lol
Anyway looking forward I'll still manage to get a few shows, 10G is probably my minimum I've used in a week whilst it was un capped, the catch when it expires now, if you re top up you don't get 10G data again, you just get more credit and at 5p MB whoosh that will go fast. I'm just going to have to get 2/3 cards and rotate, or there is another company charging £1 for 500mb I know it's insane, they are exploiting those who use PAUG It will be so much more expensive but there isn't another option.
I've not even found any 'open wifi' driving about&when; I've used a local cafe it only let me use internet explorer no proxys etc, & I'd want to hide myself if I was using a company's connection so they didn't get dmca letters and stop the use of free wifi, plus it's never that good/fast a connection to do anything on cafe wifi.
As I mentioned last time broadband not an option they wont entertain me and One company owns all the cables, even though there is competition in charges, you still need to get the actual line rental from the main one, if they say no, that's it nothing can be done it's PAUG sims only. I even offered to pay 2 years in advance for the package/rental so they could see if anything was off and disconnect, they refused I didn't have the cash anyway lol but I wanted to see if they would bend at all. I've even looked at getting a UK sim on a PAUG tariff on their roaming charges, some work out about the same for their 'roaming' as this company's 'local' charges-which is criminal on the part of my local company In my opinion.

I Knew it was coming, so I've been d/l seasons of shows to get me through when it hit, stuff I never watched b4, so I'll have all that for a time, and just have to stick to my fave shows not get the 1080x264 for things like GOT&TWD; and just stick to x265 720's and 480p etc. I'll also have to go back to turning off update checks and log out when idle, I've noticed left running overnight it can use 1G and I've not done a thing, I can't let it eat data anymore, & will have to try limit everthing, flash is already set not to play, images can be turned off (how dull) maybe even switch to mobile view if it gets real bad see if that consumes less. Well that's quite enough of that waffle for now I was just making the most of the free data while I could, off to cram more shows into my already full laptop while I can haha

@Kevin You really notice when you've had unlimited&they; change the rules. When I just got my laptop only a couple of yr ago, one of the PAUG deals was unlimited, with another company, after a few months they changed it to I think 3G for 7 days, I left because it seemed impossible. I switched to £1 for 500MB each day (when you reach it you still have connection but 14 kb/s - so can get 1G over a 24hr period) Then, we knew it was a lure for customers this isp loosing them all said free data for all but we switched anyway, it was free data who wouldn't.
Not only me with shows, kids with online gaming and 1 has netflix she pays for & shares with her brother, they've gotten used to it, so it's x3 the amount = a sim each. I'd be OK with £50 for 200G, I'm just not aloud an account.
My daughter said she might try to get one, but it's not her house so I think it will be a no from lack of I.D/Proof add, I also think she seriously underestimates my use, and her bro online gaming, I wouldn't want her name to get blacked if the bill was whoo - didn't see those hidden charges, or because they're both used to openly downloading whatever, don't listen to my warnings about VPN/Proxys when your on a named account with an isp. It's not a snap n sim ner ner try find me now, as it is on PAUG. Were all gong to have to adapt, sure we'll figure it out, my son will probably go back to 'visiting friends' and doing all his updates etc & watching all the DVD's I'm going to have to burn from all the d/l I've done in prep for net apoc day. Something will figure out, my daughter mentioned putting me in a carehome b.c the have free wifi B#*CH I'm not even over the hill haha

@violetcherry
Yeah it really sucks if you cannot get a "fixed line for internet and i have had the same problem with mobile, it keeps pinging the tower and chews through data like a bitch.
In my country they cannot refuse a connection, it is against the law here, if you have bad credit or don't pay they can only ask you for a bond.
I hope you get some competition soon as that tends to change the rules.

@spidapig, You've just given me a thought. I'm almost sure I heard here they can't refuse a basic incoming and local&emerg; call line, but they can request a totally unrealistic bond if they want to be really awkward. Maybe that would do, then I can try the other provider for it's broadband service-If that makes sense, it's what passes for competitor here go where you want but only with our base lines, it used to be with that option you couldn't call outside our area code, not even press the red button on skytv and go interactive, so might be a no go for net, but worth looking into with citizens advice or something TY.

For peoples information you can bypass the adf.ly page on openload by opening the page then closing it and then open it again, the openload page should then display.
