Thanks for the Guide: How to download from RapidRAR at maximum speed that helps a lot.

Users should know that Jdownloader and IDM work great with or without a premium membership.

Also IDM is not freeware but Jdownloader is free and you can find an adware free version at: http://www.oldversion.com/windows/jdownloader/

This is the first I've heard that this site is closing down soon and I seriously doubt it's true.

I use other sites too, but this site is the best.

Go premium or go away. Sounds like you've made up your mind to stick with those other sites with other hosters anyway.

I don't think you'll be missed. Won't even notice you're gone.

Thanks for ClinknUpload. Just downloaded my first file with them and got average speed of over 200kb/sec. and no captchas!!! This means I can load all my downloads into Jdownloader and start the downloads and not have to come back to solve a stupid CAPTCHA!!! That is a HUGE time saver. I love it!!!
Don't know if there's a daily limit yet but so far so good.
Thanks again Admin for the new host.

clicknupload is better than hugefiles in the sense that it doesn't show messages like "this file has reached its limit of free downloads" In other words it doesn't force you to buy a premium account.

pro346 is right. I just registered an account at Clicknupload and downloaded a file in less than 3 minutes. No Captchas. No wait time. No limits. Waaaaaaay better than HuF

@ysbinns, just how exactly do you make that out after 24 hours or so. My experience has been the exact opposite, Clicknupload has been better, faster download speeds, no silly captchas to fill in and no waiting 90 secs or whatever, all good and a better service than I got from HF. Things may change but so far my experience using Clicknupload is that is it a easier, faster download service than HF ever was, this may change over the coming weeks, only time will tell.

Why don't premium users of uploaded.net or RapidRAR complain about slow speeds?
Maybe Admin should require anyone making a r̶e̶q̶u̶e̶s̶t̶ demand for another host to first donate to this site.

I agree with Raptor. I have a 2 year premium Uploaded.net account that cost me $112.00 US.-- that's $4.67/mo US for unlimited speed from this site and another site that I get my music from and another site I get my sports from and another site where I get my DVD or Bluray rips of full T.V. seasons. Never with a limit or captcha or slow speeds. Almost every site offers uploaded.net links so it is well worth the cost IMHO.

I also use Jdownloader. I load 24 or 48 or 72 episodes at one time (you can add as many links as you want there is no limit) press start and all links are downloaded automatically while I watch T.V. or sleep or exercise.

As a free user I definitely prefer HugeFiles - the speed is great if you register and I've never exceeded the download limits (10GB per day).

Clicknupload may not have captcha, but the speed for free users (registered or not) is almost as bad as on uploaded or rapidrar. I've just waited for 25 minutes for an episode (285MB) to download only to find that the sound is out out of sync! From HF it would have taken less than a minute.

And buying premium is not an option when the site is inconsistent and changes the the downloading sources so often.

Another great FREE filehost is 1Fichier! Also very nice to FREE users. Before I got a premium account I was a free user myself and I must say: it is very friendly: if you want to download huge files there's only 1 thing, you need to wait 15 minutes {free user} for downloading another "huge" file....
Still maybe an option?

Aside of it: rapidrar to me is shiet, sorry. I prefer uploaded myself and 1fichier. Both I am a premium member. To the free-users who are nagging/complaining: YOU want to download shows 4 FREE and it is logical that most filehosts don't support your 'free leeching". I know that some users aren't able to get a premium account so it is shitty if you want to get a show/movie and the filehost that are present aren't nice to you. Soo maybe it is a good idea to add a filehost who is nice to free users...
