@BillD,
I recommend you get a free download manager, such as the one at freedownloadmanager.org It will make multiple connections to the download site, to get your file faster. It also will restart downloads from where they left off, if there's some sort of interruption.
I also recommend getting a VPN service. They start for as little as $3/month and give you a different IP address each time you sign on. So, download a RapidRAR file, sign off, sign on again, and download another (becuase RR thinks you're a different person).

What meridian says, i dont have these problems i can download from RapidRar every couple of minutes, Openload download fine last night.
I would suggest the problem lies with your isp or the cloud services you mention do not like the country you are from, hence the recommendation of getting a VPN service and if you have a modem restart it, this is how i get around some wait times and improves a stale connection.
