One thing that should be cleared up about Mart's post is that you're not paying for free downloads if you donate or buy a premium key from RR or UL you're helping to cover the cost of running this site. servers don't come free or cheap.

I agree with everything else Mart said and would add
use a download manager to download.
bypass using any browser avoid any malware from visiting any site you may not trust. be able to resume any failed download from where you left off instead of having to start all over again. download manager-think about it! :D

Would someone clarify the advantages of HuF over RR for me?
As a free user of HuF you get great download speeds but you only get about 3 shows before you download limit is met.
And if you're a RapidRAR free user you get crap speed but you can download around the clock even with the wait inbetween download starts how many shows per 24 hours can you get? 5 - 6 or more? that makes RR faster overall doesn't it?
And if you work HuF\RR\UL together how many shows could you get per day 10 - 12 or more?
I'm a premium UL downloader so I really don't know how slow it can be as a free downloader.

pro346 I'm a Premium Uploaded.net user.
I don't need to sign up for nothing.

I just want a solid reason, that anyone can understand, why a HuF free user is better than a RR free user given the daily download limits of a HuF free user.

I want to know why free users can't combine HuF/RR/UL and download as many shows in a 24 hour period of time as possible.

But what I really I want to know is why so many users are whining all the time about RapidRAR or RapidMoviez or the RMTeam for being less than what they expect. Seems like it's only hating to be hating for the sake of hating and I just don't get it.

pro346 you're talking to people who are afraid to sign up for a free account at HuF with there email address. I don't see any of them using a premium link generator given the many many risks involved with that.

@classic bait and switch

I understand more about what's being talked about than you must believe.
I migrated over to DDL sites from torrent sites more than 2 years ago and dealt with slow download speeds and captchas for non-premium users and tried every which way to download my stuff without paying and still get good speeds. It was the captchas that I couldn't stand. And captchas are still with us however. It was a battle I couldn't win.

RapidRAR is no different in spirit than so many other hosters. So many hosters from 2 years ago are gone btw for one reason or another. some are gone because of overwhelming costs of running a site like this. some are gone because of the risks involved with running a site like this.

I understand why download speeds are limited for free users.
what I don't understand is the hate.
Re-read my previous posts. you'll see that my real question is why the hate for RapidRAR, RapidMoviez and the RMTeam.
I'm not an idiot. I know that no one can answer this honestly.
It's just hating to be hating for the sake of hating.
And again I don't get it.

@Chiron

I couldn't agree more. I purchased an Uploaded.net account for 2 years at the cost of about $112.00 USD.
that works out to be about $4.50 USD per month to get full speed on my downloads. No wait time. No captchas. Nothing but full speed.

Not only do I use UL to download from this site but also at two other sites like this and another site that posts UL links to music albums. I had to buy another new 2 TB HDD to store all my new shows, movies and albums on. Already have two other 2 TB HDDs that are full now.

Money well spent IMHO.

@MeH
I would agree some of RMTeam's encodes have been pretty crap lately, not sure if it their encoding or the source material, if i get some time i will probably check some.
