Easily fixed.
Load in MKVMergeGUI
Click on:
Video/Format specific options/Aspect ratio
and set it to 16/9
Click "Start muxing".
Takes about 10 seconds.
But yeah, it just shows the encoders don't even look at what they make.
Obviously should have been 720x480, not 720x304.

This DVD has the old 4:3 AR that's not full screen
The proper DVDRIps on this they are 512x384
I hate videos that came out back before flat screens did lol.

Video/Format specific options/Aspect ratio
and set it to 4/3,
i.e. 1.333:1, not the 2.35:1 they used
